Tews Engineering have supplied high quality fork
carriage and related components to leading manufacturers in the fork
lift truck industry for over 40 years. Tews Engineering realised the
market need for a high quality but lower cost alternative to the Integrated
sideshift unit offered by established mainstream European suppliers.
With the wealth of manufacturing experience at Tews Engineering and
in conjunction with a specialist design and development organisation
the TEWS Integrated sideshift was evolved.
Tested performance
The Integrated sideshift unit has been developed
and tested over a period of 2 years.
High cycle tests have enabled the design team to optimise and develop
the product to an extremely high reliability standard.
Predicted product life in excess of 20,000 hours operation.
Service interval in excess of 1000 hours operation.

The Product Concept
The Integrated sideshift is a highly reliable and
durable product that is also cost effective for manufacture. The design
is optimised for maximum driver visibility whilst retaining the high
strength required for the most arduous applications. The operational
componentry is produced to precision level yet is relatively simple
in form to enable fast and accurate build and servicing. Consistent
performance in all conditions is ensured by utilising correct quality
materials, maintaining manufacturing tolerances and assembly to stringent
standards. |
